Hello to all interested youths, who would like to do a Social Year, practical training or their Civil Service!

If you are interested in community life with handicapped adults and in biodynamical farming and if you would like to collect experiences with that, come to work to Tapola!

We need assistants for the personal care of handicapped adults in the seven house-communities, who live together like extended families (6-14 persons) and further on we need Co-workers at the farm, at the workshops, in the garden and for leisure time activities. Until now 2 villagers where in need of special-care, but the amount will rise with increasing need of care.

The kind of work depends on the ability of the applicant and the present need.

In the evenings there are hobby-, culture- and study-groups, as well as conferences.

We recommend a stay of at least 6 months, but normally Co-workers stay for 1 year or longer. After arrangement there is also the possibilities for shorter stays, i.e. if it?s summer work. We try at the beginning of the time of work to give an introduction in the necessary tasks and the basic requirements of live in a community.

Community life demands a lot of personal effort; we help each others in daily life, get to know ourselves and other people, try to develop (ourselves) individually and as a member of a community, which is based on Christian and anthroposophy principles.
